They then can contact the listing pilot to schedule a flight together and equally split the cost of the flight. Reducing their cost of flying. Pilots will fly more often while increasing their confidence and safety factor. Basically, fly more often; reduce your cost of flying.

Can pilots and passengers depart from the original airport to a destination separately and equally split the cost of a flight?
No. The pilot, second pilot, and any ride-alongs must depart in the same plane and return to the same airport. No drop off of anything, not even a letter.
